Senior/Executive Manager- Learning and Development

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own end to end delivery of the L&D curriculum for the emerging technology business that enables operating at scale and growth
  • Drive change management initiatives across geographies that are aimed at creating awareness and adoption of the L&D curriculum for the emerging technology business
  • Engage with business leaders and managers to understand capability building requirements, design solutions and deploy as part of the curriculum
  • Build capacity for the curriculum offerings by assessing demand, setting up facilitator pools and scheduling sessions across geographies
  • Track key metrics related to L&D (demand, participation, feedback, business impact etc.) and create an executive dashboard for communication to business leaders
  • Engage with vendors for delivery of select associate level programs and setup governance mechanisms for tracking coverage and effectiveness
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, experience working with global virtual cross-functional and external partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and/or multiple outsourcing sites – representing the learning needs of the sites including identifying, gathering, and validating learning requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of specific training and development programs against learning objectives and report the results
  • Lead the talent development process for the firm with a focus on consistent implementation
  • Drive the culture building exercise and play a critical role in crafting learning and development interventions
  • Develop overall program offerings and update the talent development offerings to meet agreed upon training needs
  • Coach and train senior leaders, Supervise, mentor, and develop staff

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+years of experience leading high impact learning and development teams with prior mentioning experience with L&D in Cloud and Data Analytics
  • Proficient leadership management skills (i.e., comfortable with leading teams through uncertainty, ambiguity, and constant change, yet able to set priorities and deliver on commitments)
  • Keen problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, along with high attention to detail and an ability to tackle ROTI (Return of Training Investment) issues
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Adept at managing multiple projects with exceptional excellence and an eye for quality, along with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to innovate and develop new concepts and deliver creative solutions – Willingness to challenge and push boundaries


  •  Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
